Large Professor 又名 Large Pro, 和 Xtra P, 1972年在 美國紐約哈林出生, 他是以紐約為基地的音樂製作人, 是地下Hip Hop crew, Main Source 的創立成員, 他曾經被選出為50名最佳Hip Hop Producer 之一. 在早年曾經參與Nas 和Jay-Z的音樂製作,在訪問中提到 :

If you say I’m a producer, put the hours in. Don't just press the button and say that’s what it is. You gotta really roll up the sleeves and get in there.
