通常Funk被人覺得是舊一 派的音樂,玩Funk的音樂人也是年齡比較大的 ,但Funk和Hip Hop,可謂兄弟般的關係,而今次介紹年青一代的Breakestra和 Hip Hop可說連成一體,在Stones Throw Records其下出了Deuces Up, DoubleDown, The Live MixPart 2等等大細碟,他們05年12"細碟“Don’t Need a Dance”還重印了三次,亦幫De La Soul在英國中央公園作開場演出,可見他們在現代Funk舉足輕重的地位,以下送下Breakestra 2005 年出版的<< Hit The Floor >>!!!
